The Power of Magic School AI for Worksheet Creation

Technology is driving the bus in our rapidly evolving world of education. We need to get on board or we will be left in the dust wondering where everyone went. One of my favorite new innovations is Magic School AI. It is a tool designed to revolutionize the way teachers create learning opportunities. A new feature of Magic School AI is the ability to generate custom worksheets that cater to various learning styles and difficulty levels.

Like most of you, I have a wide variety of learner levels and types in my classroom. To help accommodate all learners, I often turn to technology for assistance so Magic School was a welcome addition to my resources. I know it’s ironic to talk about worksheets and technology but it is a great way to dip your toes in the water of technology, and to better understand how our students can use technology to guide them through their work and projects in our classrooms.

Creating worksheets with Magic School AI is a breeze. Here’s a simple guide to get you started:

• Log in to Magic School AI or create a free account. magicschool.ai
• Select the Worksheet Generator option.

• Choose the subject and topic for the worksheet, or enter a topic in the search bar.
• Set the difficulty level and the number of questions.

Click Generate Worksheet. And in seconds you have a worksheet that you can use as is, or better yet, tailor to your curriculum and classroom needs.

This is just the top of the worksheet generated with the prompt I entered. It has a word bank, goes on into multiple-choice questions, and open-ended questions. There is also an answer key provided. Plus, there is a “read-aloud” option.

To differentiate the worksheet, I went back and edited the original prompt for a 1st grade reading level. Here is a snip of what that looked like:

The work can be saved to your MagicSchool account or you can copy it and paste into a doc for further editing. You can take the information from the sheet and plug it into online projects or activities for the student.
